Tonight I went out on the town with a girl co-worker (travel nurse) I have met (Her name is Miranda) and we have worked on computer crap all week together so she convinced me to go out to dinner to celebrate the fact we are done with that part! She came to get me - cause she is brave in city traffic! and brought her babies with her!!! Shay is the German Shepherd he is gorgous and Ali is the little guy and he loved me, he sat on my lap the whole time and Shay he would snuffle my ear and put his paw on my arm - very nice dogs and did nothing to illiminate me missing my Delilah! So off to dinner we went...


We had no idea where we were going and ended up at a place called Vito's Here is their web-site http://vitosstl.info/ It is a authenticly owned and cooked Sicilian resturant. OMG - I have never had such amazing food - it really was delicious. I know never had any better - but truely it was good - even the salad was great. I had A regular salad with the house vinigarette a lasagna that was really good and I had so much of it I brought half of it home! Then we shared an piece of Italian wedding cake - I really did not eat so much of that as I was FULL!

We drove all around St Louis - she lived here about 20 years ago so she sort of knew where she was going. I got to see Busch Stadium - OMG WOW!! It is right down town!! I got to see the arch all lit up - saw fantabulous homes that I would never of guessed were in downtown St Louis, saw a lot of fountains lit up and beautiful.
   
We drove down along the river front - just really such a beautiful city. And I got to find out where the dog park is and I can take Delilah there when she comes down to be with me! (NOT soon enough!) We drove around for hours. We want to go on a Missippi dinner boat, we want to go to the arch - I want to touch it. We want to go into the historical museum and she likes to go to thrift stores (more than us!!!) and garage saling - did I mention she works night shift - I think I found a buddy!

OH and not only is she a nurse - she is a liscensed Chiropractor and acupunturist - She is just being a nurse to be able to travel for right now.

Her dogs are soooo adorable I could just eat Shay up and cuddle Ali all night - I told her if she ever needs someone to babysit them I am her girl!! Lulu will just love having two more men in her life!

Well that was my exciting night - I am waddeling off for bed.
